Welcome from the Governors

My name is Jean Roberts and I am chairman of the Governing Body of Greenleas Primary School. The Governing Body is constituted as follows:

3 staff governors
3 community governors
2 LEA governors
4 parent governors.

All governors give their services and expertise voluntarily and I am grateful for their contribution to the school.

The full governing body meet once each term and at the first meeting of every school year governors are asked to stand on various committees eg. finance, curriculum, pastoral etc. These committees meet each term and concentrate on their particular area in the running of the school. They then report to the full governing body each term.
